Safe Water Today (SWT) is a social enterprise, partnering with the Los Angeles based Earth Rights Institute 501(c)3 one of the founding members of the ‘Coalition for a Sustainable Africa’. Together we work with organizations who have projects in rural and urban areas of Africa, South, Central and North America.

The Reality:
• 4,000 children die each day due to water-borne diseases.
• 1.1 billion people live with out clean drinking water.
• 2.6 billion people lack access to healthy sanitation.
• 3.5 million people die each year from water-related disease.
• Soil erosion and the loss topsoil due deforestation is a major issue.
• Industrial agriculture and food production are taxing and poisoning our water supplies.
• Plastic in oceans kills or injures thousands of marine mammals, sea turtles, seabirds, and other marine life every year.

We aim to provide solutions by:
• Working to meet Goal 7c of the 2015 UN Millennium Declaration.
• Supporting the increased dissemination of Home Water Treatment through the 300in6 initiative.
• Embracing permaculture principles.
• Collaborating, partnering, networking and the sharing of information and resources to further the well being of all.
